What you can do

Buy Bitcoin

Choose Bitcoin on the screen, show your wallet address and pay: the cryptocurrency is sent to that address.

USDT and others too

The screen offers Bitcoin, USDT and other cryptocurrencies. The current list is on the machine: if you are looking for a specific coin, ask in the store.

Cash or card

Insert Swiss franc (CHF) or euro (EUR) banknotes, or pay with a Visa or Mastercard card at the reader next to the screen: for card payments the screen asks you to select euro (EUR).

Sell

You can also sell cryptocurrency for cash: choose selling on the screen and follow the instructions, the cash comes out of the banknote outlet.

How it works, in 4 steps

You need your phone with a wallet of your own and, above CHF 999 per month, an ID document.

  1. Get your wallet ready

Open your wallet app and have the QR code of the address where you want to receive the cryptocurrency ready.

  2. Choose on the screen

Tap the cryptocurrency you want and how you will pay: cash or card.

  3. Verify and show the QR

The screen asks for the details needed for that amount; then you show your wallet QR code to the machine's reader.

  4. Pay and confirm

Insert banknotes or pay by card. Before you confirm, the screen shows the amount, the exchange rate and the fee: check them, then confirm.

Where and when

The machine is inside the store: you can use it during opening hours. From which day it is in service: ask in the store.

Identification

Up to CHF 999 per month without an ID document; above this threshold the machine asks for the identity verification required by Swiss anti-money-laundering rules.

The operator's fees and limits

The machine belongs to TIBC Sàrl, which applies its own fees, exchange rate and limits per transaction and per period. The AI Lab hosts the machine in the store and does not set the prices.

No investment advice

In the store we do not tell you whether, when or how much to buy: the decision is yours.

The risks

Cryptocurrency prices rise and fall sharply, even within hours: you can lose part or all of what you spend. Only use money you can afford to lose.

Transactions cannot be reversed

A blockchain transaction cannot be undone: check the wallet address before confirming. Nobody in the store will ever ask for your private keys or recovery words.

Watch out for scams

If someone (by phone, in a chat, on social media) asks you to buy cryptocurrency and send it to their address, stop: it is the most common scam. Only use a wallet of your own.
